Hey all, recently started investing into RE with my first home in my hometown in DFW after graduating from College and recently purchased my second down the street.

His wife who is in college for a degree that will lead to a great job with great pay when she graduates in June, now has full rent to pay, plus the cost of raising 6 kids by herself. 

I think a handshake conversation goes a lot farther than a phone call (old school).

You may need a property manager if you are going to be busy in law school.

But if you're buying in a decent area (i.e. average schools, decent area, consistent appreciation even if its just 3 or 4% on avg), then you're going to do extremely better than 15 to 18%.

You can start accumulating college credits right now, and graduate when you are 18-20, with little debt, if you really want it.

Overall Austin is currently a Buyers market but there are some neighborhoods that are Sellers markets due to good schools, accessibility to Tech hub job areas, parks, entertainment etc.

I attend meetings regularly with recent "graduates" of programs like this.
