They are not outright scams and people do some deals but you almost certainly would have been better off saving the money and profits and doing it yourself.They call the up front fee your "skin in the game". 

There are soo many scams out there you need someone to watch out for you and the tenants.Also keep in mind a local manager should also have great vendors relationships that prioritize their work orders. 

I don't konw if you're on many social media sites, but even on the FF FB page it is littered with guests AND hosts claiming FF is a scam!

At least it sits on their credit report and prevents them from scamming another landlord or qualifying for a loan.

Rently and Facebook shows some potential but still looking.( BTW, How do I know Facebook listing's aren't scams??)

I want to make sure that this is not some sort of scam where someone could steal my title or information.

It's challenging to find reliable starting points online without falling prey to scams.

don’t respond. she can go to the local library or wherever she usually plug in the device. scamming at an all time high! 

I've had squatters ( Usually people who got scammed thinking they were talking to  the "owners").

Hiring a company is cool but if you don't have direct supervision of the cold callers, there's tons of scams where the companies are just harvesting leads with your money posing as a lead generation company.
