I am a beginner in this and I would like what basics questions should I check before getting into this business.

Lesson learned, check your numbers more thoroughly ahead of time and actually do your research.

My advice is to always always always do your own due diligence and be sure to check it 3 times!  

Most aren't assumable, but some are, so worth a check. 

Any service dog, emotional support pet or pet requires that box being checked.

Having watched many prior co-workers get paid, cash their check at the casino, and promptly deposit it all into a slot machine I can tell you with pretty good certainty that casinos don't have a positive effect on disposable income and good use of the existing income in the area surrounding :)Are there solid local employers OTHER than the casino in a 15-minute drive? 

Any other expenses are using up funds that would otherwise be sitting in your checking account to make a mortgage payment with.

She said she has requested a check out of her 401K to cover rent but doesn't know when the check will arrive.
