Direct real estate worship is passive…haa…haa.

Plan: remedy deferred maintenance, kick out the seventies, bring in contemporary, clean and crisp. 

While the upper front unit required new carpeting, the lower unit was move-in ready, having recently undergone a renovation with contemporary finishes.

I am trying to add value (to command a higher rent), but also not pour too much time or money in as this is an investment and not my personal room.I have hardwood flooring in all rooms and am going for a contemporary look so as too appeal to young professionals. 

My reaction is to this new school that seems to worship debt.

Not sure if she is a mystery shopper or not.I know down here a landlord has gotten in trouble for advertising "close to house of worship" as showing preferences to certain religious groups. 

I've called credit unions in AL but you must live, work or worship there. 

The style will be contemporary/mid-century modern/modern.  

I've seen birch - (high grade finished) plywood laid diagonally in a contemporary high end home and it looked absolutely luxurious.
