I assume your wish to use a HELOC is to avoid paying interest when you are not actively rehabbing a BRRRR.

Not that I regret my investment, I just keep looking for the best investment possible, and I'm leaning the way of a BRRRR for my next go.

Or are there other methods you’d recommend that could align better with my goals?

It may be helpful to analyze each deal as a flip and a BRRRR so you understand why sometimes it works as one but not the other.There will be some people that say it’s not all about the numbers though, and I would agree.

I think this is a solid method for building a portfolio and wealth.

This is why this method is so powerful.  

I didn't intend to complete it in one deal, I was thinking more along the lines of the BRRRR strategy.As for the area, I'm still researching.

A BRRRR, for example, is a cute term, but what it really means is that you are buying an absolute disaster of a property without fully knowing all of its problems until you own it.
