I'd also recommend focusing on one county at a time, or homes close to one major school or one major highway. when you start beating the pavement and heading out to visit sites, you don't want to be in the car for hours just to check out a couple sites, you want to be able to see a double digit number of properties each weekend until you find that first investment. good luck!

My cuzzo drives dump trucks and he said maybe with a couple loads of asphalt and his skid steer we can fix. and about drainage, i saw a neighboring house have a PVC pipe coming down the side of it carrying water from the top down to street. lol idk

It is not a flip and would be rent and hold for at least 5 years.The roof is Asphalt Shingles.With a roof change costing generally around 8-9k, what do you suggest is the best way to handle this situation Walk away from the deal.I can ask to reduce the price on the house.
