More recently I have a barn here in Western Wa where we get serious rain; the barn is at the bottom of a big hill and it was useless for storage..........I had a drain installed here too.

In the Western Chicago Suburbs (Westmont, Villa Park, Wheaton, Lombard, Addison, etc...) there are many apartment buildings located right next to a clustering of all the same exact built buildings, typically each with a different landlord/owner.

Hey @Joshua Handlarsky, NYC is definitely expensive, but if you're a buy-and-hold investor the appreciation will most certainly be worth it.For less expensive options take a look upstate (Ossining or Albany), central CT, Western MA, and central PA.
