But back to your question, every time I train a new soldier, teach someone about real estate, and show someone how to analyze large volumes of data(I'm an analyst by trade) then I think what if I didn't do that and just leave it to someone else.

If you're stationed at a base where there are schools that soldiers have to attend, they all get paid per diem.

I'm planning to do the same with my property in the next few months while I rehab the basement to serve as a MTR for nurses or soldiers. 

The soldiers on Fort Bragg (largest base in the world station-wise) keep the economy of the entire area thoroughly stabilized.
