Sounds riskier with higher chances of drama and turnover than a regular couple. 

I would say your getting way to wrapped up into the tenant drama, letting the tail wag the dog.

Like a "Flip This House" type show, but with more practical information and less artificial drama... that's certainly an interesting idea

Thus far the cash flow is still positive, but it certainly feels like a drama at times.I've had tenants come and go, complain about drugs in the neighborhood (knock on wood no murders yet)...I was offered crack once driving through the nearby neighborhood to check on the properties...I hope it's a transition, build experience with a limited investment, then move on to advanced opportunities for me.

On the other hand, if you believe not all is lost and there is hope for the building, join the board of directors and help them get things back into shape, but be ready for much drama, politics and failures despite all your effort. 

I have some tenant drama from time to time in the fourplex but that's what happens in that price range in my experience.  

We have all reached the point that we judge service providers more harshly than we used to.

No drama at all.

Hello everyone, so I’m pretty new to the whole real estate world, just been listening and researching into it in the last month and plan to keep going, but I’ve been interested in it for awhile but haven’t had the courage to do anything about it, thats changed, while I’m still scared, terrified even, My goals and aspirations have surpassed my fears, as well as my hate for boss drama.
