I even enjoy criticism as it can be a great teacher.

Experience is our best teacher. 

While I've never paid for any course or seminar (okay, I once paid $29 to hear a half-day guru pitch for her bigger seminars, at which point I decided I'd never pay for another one), there are certainly investors/teachers/gurus that I respect more than others.

My wife a retired school teacher is a master with fan folded card stock (think grade book) for the rent roll.
