as much as we tried to warn people a year ago.. we were just looked at as nay sayers.the Tyler Jenhke post did no one any favors either.. gave a real false sense of security to folks.

Any unlicensed person can be charged with filing a false lien.

The constant marketing vibe for CA locals to go for that alternative is generally absurd to put it lightly IMO.

The next call there's the assumption that it's just false alarms due to animals etc. 

Send them a notice that their rent is going up to some absurdly high amount with their renewal.

This can also lead to bank fraud which is different than general fraud matters, an actual loss does not need to be suffered, submitting false or misleading documents or communications can fall under this aspect.You posted this in wholesaling, that general means you don't intend to buy in your name, any sale contract submitted is not being done in good faith if you have no intention to buy yourself, there is not "out" or excuse of doing something different that is not fully disclosed.

The charge is obtaining property under false pretense/ forgery.
