They're noise nazis or plants on the balcony nazis or anti-rental nazis.I owned one for about 3 years and made a profit, but couldn't WAIT to get out from under the HOA, and yes, I even got on the board to try and add some experience/sanity to it, but it was a losing, insane battle.

You have to follow certain code requirements, such as :you can't house more than five unrelated individuals at a timeyou have to abide by all noise ordinances and parking ordinancesyou cannot serve breakfast or else you fall under the B&B lawsTo the question I would have and I imagine others have, Can you buy a property down there and rent it full-time?

I think landlords who overstep their bounds like they're some kind of British landlowner, end up losing good tenants.People with options will move if you interfere with their right to quiet enjoyment of their homes.And what many landlords don't understand is the right to quiet enjoyment has nothing to do with noise.
