Damage to property, furniture left inside, appliances trashed. 

Worst case scenario, It doesn’t work out and I rent the unit as a long term rental like the plan was originally, and maybe sell as much furniture on FB marketplace or something to cut losses as much as possible lol.

Everything from using a NEST thermostat and keyless entry, to artwork and furniture that represents our style.

Some of the furniture is really big (leather couches and chairs). 

not sure of the legality in your area I sold a house which didn't appraise at the sale price So my Atty wrote up a contract for the difference, between appraisal and sale price, selling the furniture to the buyers with me holding the note and receiving monthly paymentsNot perfect but it saved the deal and I get a nice little monthly deposit into my bank account. 

It looks like a hoarder lived there and left everything except his furniture.  

I have a ton of furniture and possessions and I'm quite dismayed about what to do.

Here are the issues:- Dogs left outside, barking 24/7; police have been called at least 20 times; 4 neighbors getting ready to file a lawsuit- Started paying rent late, now 2 months in a row; never emailed or called us to inform of late payment- Not maintaining yards front or back; lawns are dead, weeds everywhere, trees overgrown- Parking "toys" outside and on the street (boats, SUVs, trucks, cars, golf carts, etc)- Leaving furniture and garbage everywhere outside (on the front patio, side yard, front yard -- everywhere!)
