A 300 K lease is about 50% 150K leased in 6 months on the average = 150,000/180=833 a day plus fuel.

It has been a few weeks since this post and joining BP which has put fuel to my fire of becoming a Real Estate Investor after dreaming about it for a few years.

Profit is the fuel, it is not the destination (not sure who said that, but I love it).It’s time to MIH!!

There ain't no drought way up here in Del Norte Pole County :-)  There is a park across the street from my apt with acres and acres of lawn. 

So my plan is to continue working full time (for now); to fuel my real estate business, start building a client base, (fingers crossed with a few commissions) and then start finding/obtaining rental units for my portfolio. 

I wouldn't touch a cc or box store credit loan with a 10-ft pole these days, but remembering where I was starting out, I utilized all those low interest credit options.  

He had us account for rent/mortgage, vehicle payments and insurance, fuel, utilities, food etc.  

An example would be an electric utility pole that has a 3' easement on all sides, well if the pole is move then the easement moves with it.

I have and engineering job that is fueling my savings, owner occupying this investment should help my savings rate. 

All too many contractors see caulking as a job best suited to the lowest man on the totem pole.
