I’m an aspiring investor, I’m here to learn and enjoy different mindsets and views on real estate

This post was intended to help aspiring investors like myself, to understand market conditions before making any purchases.

I often speak to active real estate investors or even aspiring investors looking for their first deal.

Additionally, I am the proprietor of a small business in the wedding industry, which is principally managed by my wife and generates approximately $50,000 annually.While I have no intention of resigning from my current position, I am keen on expanding into the realm of real estate investment, an area I've long been interested in.Together with my wife, we aspire to develop a portfolio that includes both long-term and, eventually, short-term rental properties.

That is nonsense really, everybody aspires to more valuable homes and this is not about someone buying a home in the current market at the current value and tax rate.

As a renter and aspiring house-hacker with a pet I have interest in this question from both sides!

Any advice for an aspiring investor would be sincerely appreciated.

You are a bundle of positive aspiration, and you are going to succeed. 

Two things I would recommend is finding a mentor or someone you aspire to be in real estate and shadow them.
