For the exterior light, if you do not want to rewire the fixture to the correct panel (which is certainly doable but likely more expensive), you can install a light with a built in Motion Sensor which is either solar powered like this one for $22  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07926JKCP/?

A perfect example was when the health care bill was first released -- Conservatives had LOTS of great arguments on why it was a bad bill (again, I completely agree), yet before they could really coalesce those arguments into a logical rebuttal, their colleague Sarah Palin comes along and starts yelling about "death panels."
