I own and live in the identical 4 plex right next to this one.Well one of the tenants in the building built a deck in the back yard.

The unit next door is in great shape/move-in ready, and is in escrow for $420k; identical floor plan and space.  

I'd add that a prospective tenant can fake anything, including the social security number and identity they are applying under, but forgery is a pretty serious crime to commit against someone who will literally know where you live.

I've seen peoples' lives temporarily ruined by identity theft and do not want to fall victim to this man.As to the tenant who showed me the house, he was not "Rob."

I staged it and sold it in a week (with 2 other identical units that had been on the market over a month).

Found the deal by picking up the phone and talking to an agent about a current listing.Best part is offer was accepted at $290K and an identical unit just hit the MLS at $360K. 

So, Why are they hiding their identity?

For example, suppose you are considering two identical properties that rent for the same amount (yes, this is an over simplified and contrived example!).

Either way, to weigh in on your quest for information, Hoover and Gardendale are going to be almost identical to Homewood and Vestavia... especially Hoover as it is in the same Over The Mountain area of town.

For example, if there's a nice 600sf 1bed/1bath cottage on 0.5 acres, with no restrictions, what's a way to measure this vs. an identical piece of land on the same street with a house of similar construction/quality but only it's 2bed/2bath and 1800sf?
