IF BR goes under the whole economy globally has collapsed. not just the US but globally.

@Jim S.Jim that is a very good approach and basically those would be the 3 routes with any given property with the emphasis on buy and hold so you can build wealth.

All I'm looking for is the ability to show myself houses, gain access to the MLS, and submit offers.I have been researching RealMark and Global Elite Realty because they both are around $100 per month but it doesn't look like the includes access to MLS.Does anyone have experience with these brokers or have any that they recommend?

I would also say that @Llewelyn Adal hits on some of the finer more nuanced points of investing in NYC real-estate; unlike many other markets, global investors look at NYC real estate as akin to a Treasury bill - a super safe place to park cash, low returns, but inflation-adjusted appreciation potential.

I will one day own rental properties in all 24 time zones of the world and create global passive income.  

High Point has been working on many projects here lately, and I will list some of them now; Volvo is working on completing a $41 Million investment in it's Global Headquarters- retaining 360 jobs, EcoLabs with a massive $93 Million investment, that will retain 125 jobs and 20 new ones.

Another thing to look at though would be the Toronto area and Vancouver area on a global scale in terms and livability are 2 of the top cities and there housing prices are well below other top cities like New York.
