With a generic or unidentifiable LLC name, your personal identity remains unknown to anyone searching public records. 

All of the homes are identical in layout/design and are pretty basic, but are solidly built with quality materials and appraise for $30k - $40k above the lot & construction expenses on average upon completion.  

I sold a property there in 2008, then sold the identical property next door in 2013 for 60% less. 

So a lot of people say get a list together and mail a bunch of identical/generic type mailers.

It's to the point that some of the checks, faces and veribage are all identical.

They are a REIT so they won't be doing some of the goofball stuff others who are apparently trying to find their identity are doing.

Also, just doing a search on the words "if you had to invest" you'll find many other threads identical to yours, read those answers. 

Even if your relationship to the family member doesn't make you a disqualified person to their IRA, you may still run into trouble if there is any preferential treatment at all (i.e if they don't structure the loan identically to any other loan they would make, it still could result in a prohibited transaction.)
