We pay 3 site supervisors right now and then they answer to a supervisor over-seeing the whole operation.

We have our own construction company with 2 construction supervisors and we are training 4 project managers now to manage the estimates, contract documents, w-9, scheduling, Gantt charts, detailed scope of work, contractor verifications and contracts, coordination with designer on material specs, invitation to bid to subs, lien releases, permits, etc.

I used to be a supervisor for a company that built most of the 80-350 apartment buildings in Stamford, Norwalk and Danbury, and all of them would have hardwired smokes in each apartment as well as the fire alarm smokes out in the main corridor and stairs.

If you didn't have your workplace up to OSHA standards, and even if you did, they may try to sue you.

People like to meet their colleagues and not everyone wants to be at home or has a comfortable workplace at home.  

Even if you find the decision maker who has the ability, he or she may not be able to sell the loan to you because they take their orders from supervisors who are concerned with quarterly profits and dividends.

Well - you can take it to the supervisor if you think / know he is being unreasonable.
