I am planning on moving to the Woodland Park/Colorado Springs area in the next 10 months or so.

@Timothy Woodland Selling a multi unit with a lease purchase is plausible but not the most practical.

I'll be working in the Woodlands area and am looking for a way to "house-hack" while I am young and unattached.

To consider the stock market will double every 10 years historically its a much easier investment.Now if your argument was buying 20 acres of woodlands on undeveloped land on the edge of town thats a different ball game.

They're in the Woodlands, but Academy Mortgage has other branches/teams in the Houston area.

What they think is a good deal might be a good deal for a end-user retail buyer but not for somebody who is going to buy, fix, and flip for a healthy profit.I'm just getting started as well and I'm in escrow on my first fix and flip in Woodland Hills.
