If FHA wants people to honor their "1 year residency" requirement, then they need to lobby to have a lot of these tenant friendly laws changed.

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has a strong lobbying arm associated with it, and they are very good at getting the government to do things in their best interest.

Wouldn't doubt that at all, given the nature of the banking lobby.

I believe that grass-roots lobbying against these laws can make a difference.

I think @Mike Dymski has a good approach to it. and i would tackle the exterior and lobby first, first impression of the place is always key. as far as the distance, do you have any kids, relatives or friends that may want/ need a part time job ?
