I run into investors that try to skimp on insurance, maintenance and management thinking their LLC will protect them if something bad happens... those same folks often skimp on maintaining the integrity of their entity so they have a false sense of security.

I find myself eating $0.68 walmart cans of tuna in a sandwich for lunch at the office most days (tuna is fairly healthy so that is half of the motivation to skimp on the lunch buffet).

About 90 percent of the homes tested came in at normal levels but 10 percent had dangerous readings.I agree that I strongly dislike tiled counter tops.The grout is a pain to clean and it looks like crap.The only reason someone put it there is it is cheaper to buy the tiles.So when I look at a place I go what else did they skimp on??

That doesn't mean I plan to skimp on insurance; as Luis noted in the "All my REIs..." thread, both is better than either.3: What I'm reading is that you dislike LLCs but use them anyway.  :|  I'm not pretending that an LLC is some magic piece of paper.
