I understand a very high deductible may result in Tenant not reporting small issues that may grow to become expensive repairs.Any advise would be appreciate.

That said, if you were in my shoes would you advise looking into syndications or trying to find deals to buy and hold myself?

Our counsel previously advised we are legally entitled to a greater amount including all lost rent until the home was re-signed, cost of lock-out, cost to clean up house, physical damage, ect.For context, this is a solid house in a decent neighborhood and we never had prior issues with the tenant. 

I also hope you got a personal guarantee and have advised your borrower that you intend to enforce it.
