Have they ever been to a public pool, or water park, or hot tub at a resort or gym? 

Ever try to get consistent responses from a doctor or attorney, even a CPA?

Note it often is not a result of significant NOI change (excluding some markets where a lot of new units have been added). 3 recent studies show it is cheaper to rent than own in virtually all of the largest US markets.  

As a negative, it also has the largest gap between the cost to buy versus the cost to rent, making cash flow extremely difficult without committing more equity up front.

because there are two groups - those who are out buying real estate and doing deals and those who are marketing a lifestyle or dream to get people to pay for something that rarely if ever happens.

Literally anything and everything one could ever need or want to know is all out there and it's free.....

No one is ever happy: owners, tenants, vendors.  

This seems counter-intuitive as I doubt you’ll ever find a really good PM company but the headaches of managing any kind of a problem remotely overshadows the ongoing concern that a PM company is inefficient and expensive (at least it does for us).
