Ray had the winning guess....turns out that many of the previous plumbing repairs were ‘never’ actually done, (just fabricated by the plumber).

The point of all this is that scammers, gurus or unaware RE investors use these instant profit concepts to justify their activities or success and such are usually complete fabrications of value and claims of instant equity.

There are many more out there waiting for your consideration.From your post, it would seem you are trying to fabricate an investment opportunity.

The company also encouraged sales people to fabricate stories so that they would seem to have a lot in common with the client.

Assuming that they are painted as typical, you could consider taking them to a metal fabricator and having another post welded in between each one and leave your gaps at 3 inches instead.

As was noted in another comment "proforma" or "projected" cash flows can be completely fabricated and should not be relied upon.

If you put your prints or DNA on a large bag of any junk, the cops have no way of knowing if you had some other involvement besides your story and stories are easily fabricated, so don't touch stuff you don't want to become involved with. :)
