However, if it's anything like a lot of major Canadian centres, it will be difficult to get a good cash-on-cash return. 

I lived in Singapore for 2 years and homes there do not have central AC.  365 days per year are over 85 degrees F and 90%+ humidity.

In Singapore a standard Toyota Camry type vehicle will run you 50 to 70k.. and then the right to drive it cost another 90k for 10 year right.So basically 10 to 14k a year to drive.

6) Thoughts on the sister city Las Vegas Multifamily real estate investment considering that it has some good economic growth projects coming up (AMAZON fulfillment centre , SWITCH supernaps, FARADAY, Strip projects such as Genting Berhad’s $4 billion Resorts World Las Vegas, the $350 million MGM-AEG arena, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s $2.3 billion Las Vegas Global Business District.)I am also looking for networking with other investors in this area including investor-friendly real estate agents.

I went to the city hall (Permit Centre) today and special program compliance for the City of Palm Springs.

Not so exciting.What caught my eye was in the story the city auctions off the house because of unpaid taxes to a company based in Singapore.
