I tried the same with Fidelity several years ago, however they insisted that I keep 7 figures in brokerage (outside of private equity), so we didn't stick around long... in fact Im all but liquidated there myself.

., etc. all out of their commissions before they get to keep any $), their time, etc. then they also have to split anything they make with their brokerage. $4k would be losing money for me but again it sounds like a lower cost of living area.

Get's rid of the slimy sellers and the weasels in the business.A broker/agent wants to know UPFRONT if they are dealing with a sleazy seller that will not properly compensate a broker/agent for bringing a competent buyer to the table.

The definition of wholesaling (a new term under SC brokerage laws) reads as follows:"Wholesaling" means having a contractual interest in purchasing residential real estate from a property owner, then marketing the property for sale to a different buyer prior to taking legal ownership of the property.
