You can require that they abide by common pet rules like keeping it leashed, cleaning up after it immediately, not allowing it to bark and disturb the neighbors, etc.You can read the HUD guidance HERE and pay particular attention to the top of page three for the two questions you are allowed to ask.I hope our government gets this fraud under control soon.

I'm a teacher, I can't help it.So, when I was at my cabin last weekend, cleaning for the photo shoot, I couldn't help but notice that my immediate next door neighbor has a dog that barked nearly all day on Saturday but then was completely silent on Sunday.
