By comparison, Quickbooks is a PEASLY $300 and will take you, at most, a few hours to learn... or a few hundred bones to have professionally set up so you can run it with minimal effort.I would wager that most people will save in time and frustration what they will spend in money to start off with Quickbooks from the get go, rather than trying to "Make do" with a spreadsheet (or a dozen spreadsheets.)Finally, when your business grows, you won't have to redo your entire accounting system from spreadsheets to Quickbooks.Note: I don't work for Quickbooks, I don't get anything from Quickbooks.

People like James are betting that prices will go straight up, whereas I’m placing my wager (which I believe to be  with odds in my favor - since no fed put) that housing will drop in the short term 12-18 months.

In fact, I would wager the community would love to hear unbiased opinions about going through those programs.  

I will make a high wager that you are right now living far above the means of hundreds of thousands of other "less fortunate" individuals in this country.

What I was responding to was the idea that medical care should somehow only be reserved for those who don't do stupid things and medical professionals should be allowed to dispense life or death according to some ambiguous and completely unenforceable standard.I'll wager that every single person on this board has done multiple stupid things in their lives, including you. 

And I would wager that I can point to 18,000+ people who won’t be in the “winners” category 5 years from now.

If I wager - none move out that were not planning to move out already - moving is expensive - moving is a pain - and if market rent is rising than I am guessing there is not vacancy signs everywhere so they will need to find something they actually want.

most of us do not appreciate that, and ill wager the more experienced land lords on here will not agree with paying a tenant to leave because he wont pay rent on time. 

Assuming the police haven't done anything then I'd wager that'd probably be a big counter point to your claims.Now if you moved out, chances are there's probably something you could cite to get out of the lease.
