I am a professional cabinet maker and my father is a master plumber.Estimated sale price once complete $500k+Home 2: 210k mortgage. 5 bed, 3 bath redesigned to 5 bed, 4 bath, 3,000 sq ft.

Would love feedback and learn from the seasoned professionals. 

I’d start with a smaller deal - buy a 6 to 12 unit say - raise money from your social and professional sphere - people who know you - who you have a beer with etc.

Sometimes condos/townhomes are better at attracting young working professionals given that they are usually in more densely populated areas and often will have amenities that come with the HOA like pools, gyms, etc. 

I am primarily hosting traveling medical personnel because there is a lot of demand for these professionals in our area and because my units are suited to their needs.

Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

He is a realtor that I previously purchased a small portfolio from and therefore had a good professional relationship.

Most are traveling professionals needing an alternative to a thousand dollar a week hotels.
