@Cody Lewis is correct.str cleaning fees aren't even close- if a str on a low average with linen and cleaning service you will be 1k a month easy- average. if you can turn a month with 4 weekly cleanings in a 800k house with linens for $300- hook me up with that cleaner but honestly id be scared if em....

You will have a guest move out of an STR on Wednesday, but best you could do to get your next guest in may be on Sunday.

Ask all the people who bought STR only to have cities come back in and prohibit STR around the world.I have never purchased property in Mexico, but I have considered it many times, and still considering it.

One thing I suggest is go look at a STR on AirBnB in the area you want to buy. 

I do MTR and fill the vacancies with STR on all my rentals inside the loop now and they are all doing very well. 

We own a chalet/cabin STR on sewer with a grinder pump and aren't supposed to flush anything but TP.

While we do pay a HOT tax to the city Govt it does allow us to have a level playing field with the hotels when it comes to being allowed to have STR on the island.
