We found plates and glasses, etc also at an auction, and would flesh them out from Christmas Tree Shops (that's where we'd replenish wine glasses, silverware, coffee mugs - can't beat a buck apiece).Bottom line is that there's a lot to purchase when you're starting from scratch.

They wine and dine you just to take your money.

We've done nice bottles of wine, engraved silverware, gift certs to mid-high end home good stores (restoration hardware, etc), etc.

Only thing is my partner likes the good food and wine so dinner is always 300 to 500 bucks a night.. so we splurge there.thanks for sharing and congrats...
