I'm thinking I should have around 104k-129k in equity.

I have about 175k in equity in one of my Charlotte properties that I would like to tap into that via HELOC or cash-out refi.

So if you take the 300k you have in equity and invest that somewhere else, how will the returns compare to if you hold on to the quadplex? 

However, I'm familiar with CFP designation and they are mostly educated in investing in equity markets.

That income inequality will have see societal overhaul.

I don't have any experience with Techvestor but I would caution with any turnkey company that you shouldn't expect any built-in equity. 

Our lender suggested we just sell my home as it holds around 300k in equity, but my real estate investment brain is telling me not to, and hold out until I can make this work.
