As a Mod, I feel an obligation to remove all  drunk posts !  

So take some good quality pods over there and run a cycle or two and see if things correct themselves.The nasty smell is probably from operational error.

But then again the first comment from the mod says they're locking the thread and there have been lots of helpful comments.  

Yesterday, as I was listening to the BP pod casts, it finally hit me REI is a real possibility.  

I don't think the forums encourages anything one way or the other; I've been here a long time, before I was a mod, and I think there has always been a diversity of opinion and strategy among different posters.I've been on the podcast.

Leave instructions on how it is used (ie no dish soap) and a small box of dishwasher detergent or some dishwasher pods, so they can see what to use.
