Left 19 years ago from the Central Valley to Vegas for more business opportunities, entertainment and dining choices, less traffic, cheaper gas, no income tax, cheaper flights, bigger newer houses, lower utilities, gambling, lower property taxes, lower sales tax, cheaper insurance, real estate investing for all those reasons plus MUCH more favorable to landlords. 

It just makes it a blind gamble. 

I know a few people who are addicted to gambling and it's not good. 

If you want to gamble on appreciation, wager your money in the stock market.

Its not all gambling either.  

Perhaps one major change is the 1031 rule, which I would support if it wasn't just taxing the real estate industry, but major tax reforms like offshore tax sheltering etc (not just raising the tax, we're at 35% the highest in the world).

Who is going back to the casinos other than your hardcore gambling attic.  

We do NOT have the same crazy system on mortgage-backed securities we had in 08/09, or to be more accurate the Jenga stack of gambles is not built in a way as it was. 

To be fair and balanced like Fox News most folks on BP simply does not have the off shore connections you do.. that's a big part of OUR success..

Many times those are the folks looking for a quick fix - aka gamble for a long shot.
