If they are resistant to my doing it, then I know I probably don’t want to rent to them.The money is not worth the hassle of a lousy tenant, and could cost you more in the long run.

While those are the exceptions, turning over units with pets takes longer and costs more.Yet, like a moth to flame, we haven't given up and are continually try to find ways to make better pet friendly (aka: pet proof) units that we can rent.

You can get some good stuff nowadays that looks like hardwood but is water resistant, etc., making it more tenant-proof.Oh, and my issue with the recessed lighting is trying to replace the bulbs.
