Well, you sure cant go wrong with an English speaking country that has 2-3 Hour direct flights from many different airports in the United States.

Upon reciept of the tax bill, the county appraised the newly constructed home for $1.1mil and the adjacent home for $450k.

I have a house under contract in the 76111 area on the east side of HWY 35 North of Airport Freeway.

Also if they were to bail there should be a penalty since I am doing the build out.Another tenant decided they wanted the adjacent space, they negotiated a lower rent, but they will do ALL the TI, so we accepted because they were a reputable construction company.

I'm sure they will probably be happy but if they are there now they can't be that unhappy right paying 800 near a hwy and airport.

We usually like a payback of <=5-years.As an example, we will be taking a 1.5 car garage and adjacent former laundry room at the rear of one of our properties, adding a second story, with the result of an additional 2 - 3 bedroom unit (pending on the floor plan).  

The area is light industrial adjacent to a boat yard and if the owner is truthful operating at about 98% capacity.I see some potential to drive up the income by adding additional covered storage (there is supposedly a waiting list for covered storage).

As long as I'm able to drive my rental car from the airport to the building I'll be happy.

This new drive has proven to be more burdensome than we had thought due to traffic and we are thinking of moving closer to her new airport.
