I'm a teacher and it's tough every day is rewarding but a grind as well.

I'm seeing a transition from tenants in the service industry renting from me to those with lower paying professional jobs like teachers and GIS techs.

My situation is I've been a teacher for 7 years and I am looking for a company that will help my with my buy and hold real estate investments as well as sometime down the line transition to a full time  agent.

There would be a lot of politics about it among teachers, school administrators, and of course, politicians.

I'll never forget what my RE teacher said to our class when we were getting our real estate licenses:  "Take a look around at everyone in this call (there were about 50 of us).  80% of you won't be in this business one year from now. 

In no way did I feel like I was missing out by not having Dave as our teacher.

Also I want to be able to put my pride and ego to the side so I can become more of the student and listener versus the teacher and know it all.

And REIAs are just like the Gurus, attorneys, doctors, politicians, teachers or anyone else.
