I also believe initial trust is best built and seen in person and then followed up/backed with the serious details of credit etc. to be sure someone is being authentic.“-”As a tenant - I would like to go and look at the property before filling out all of that information.

And, since the closing will take a few extra days to complete (original signed docs need to be returned), the file can't disburse until later... meaning seller and any agents don't get paid right away.You'll need to coordinate the signing, notarization, authentication with the appropriate officials... not always easy.
