Basically, real estate agents have been led to the slaughter by their Multiple Listing Services and are falling into a pattern of paying twice, once to a listing service and again to a marketing company that can't even get the facts right.

Recent weather patterns suggest that warmer seas, for example, result in more extreme winter weather in much the US Midwest, not less extreme.I suspect the biggest potential threat of climate change will be that someplace like CO will turn off the spigot for SoCal.

I have no idea if that has any tangible impact on property value, migration patterns, industry, etc., but the trend line is in the direction of unpredictable and instable patterns that, at worst, cause a significant problem, and at best, increase flood risk and insurance costs.It's probably a "nothing is ever as good or as bad as people say it is" situation as it is hard to interpret who has an agenda to push and who does not...I wouldn't go so far as to say don't invest in parts of FL or TX on account of it, but it's certainly a thought to keep in mind if you plan on owning property in those areas for another 20+ years.
