We're talking about some guy that you barely know and aren't friends with who wants to come into your personal space and inspect your home on a regular basis, a guy who tells you to take better care of the lawn, tells you that you can't have a pet even though you're sure that cat isn't going to do any damage to the place, tells you who you can and cannot rent any spare rooms to, and who might tell you to leave on fairly short notice at any time for almost any reason.

Hi @Tkai Savage, expanding your search area may be your best option.If you are able to commute or work remotely, finding duplexes in surrounding areas could be a good bet.If that does not work, you can still house hack in a single-family.The only difference is that you are renting out the spare rooms in your house rather than the spare units.Hope this helps!

I met some very nice people and learned a thing or two.For the next two weekends I will be attending a 40 hour course to prepare to get my real estate license and I am using every spare moment I have to learn everything I can.There is no turning back...onward and upward!
