I hope this tenant calls the police using 911, and gets flagged for abuse of the emergency system for a non-emergency ... :)

Section 8 tenants can be extremely abusive on a property and it is your responsibility to satisfy the inspectors not your tenants.

Unfortunately, he decides you're lying to him, calls CPS, police, etc, and accuses you of child abuse.  

I agree, but you could never trust a landlord not to abuse such a responsibility. 

Just in case.Now, if it just so happened that the five you liked best were of 5 different races, different sexual orientations, some had kids, LOL, you'd probably be fine.  

In Indiana if they move in with utilities on, they can quite literally keep abusing you and you can't turn the utilities off on them.
