Real Estate wealth is real, but in reality its work hard and slowly build wealth.

@Greg Dowell Cedar Creek Wealth is a great self storage operator with loads of experience and success in that asset class.

The perception by the general public is that landlords are very wealthy, and in large part this can be true.

If state and local governments get desperate enough, for example, they may try to balance budgets by raising property taxes because the wealthy homeowners are the only ones left to tax.

The wholesalers are not wealthy, not influential, and a thorn in the side of National Association of Realtors.  

So…. assuming you don't want to make money for money's sake, I am curious to know why you want to become wealthy?

This only really works if you are Itemizing your deductions, but I used to get the question when I was working with wealthy clients in a bank's Private Client division.

I can't stand all the empty platitudes passed off as anecdotes that really happened.Also the sentence "I had nothing but a dream of being extremely wealthy" definitely struck me as sad more than inspiring.

He also has a book called the wealthy code that goes more in depth.  

As I am looking at building long term family wealth I have less worries about low performance in the short term.
