Assumption buyers can often get a supplemental (think: second mortgage) but those carry higher rates so the buyer still needs a discount. 

In other words, if someone wants to find only a handful of deals to supplement life goals, rather than go full tilt into RE investing, they can see how it fits THEIR plan.
