I would just be more cautious about the area you invest in and see what other investor experiences have been in the area you do decide to invest in as well.

She is well established and is recognized as one of the top investors and brokers here in the Indianapolis market. 

Let's of NYC investors look at other cities in NY, Rochester, Buffalo, etc... they can drive to them to see them, and they know the state well enough to feel comfortable.Most of the rust belt cities in NY offer cash flow as well. 

I'm debating this as well but can't find any reviews of it outside of their own platforms.

The other site that I would be looking at is meetup.com as well, they have a lot of meetups in your area that you can attend to get in front of people doing the stuff you want to be doing.
