I would also paint the kitchen walls in a neutral color and paint the wood paneling white. 

The house was built in 1938, it's a craftsman style home, original hardwood flooring in good shape, original windows but it very good shape, the walls and ceiling had been filled with blown insulation, had a new roof installed in 2017, and the sellers were willing to pay 5k to have the house painted to the color of your choice.  

My daughter ordered hers as seconds ,they came in mismatched different colors and  she had them painted to match.

So it's going to be another few years until there is a surplus of "blue-color" homes that investors can buy and rehab, due to them having deferred maintenance.

When the reports came back with flying colors, it gave me the confidence to close on the deal quickly.Having a partner has made the process much easier than taking down the deal alone.  

Anyone who is clearly as grossed out as you are just by the damned color of the counter I don't even want as a customer.

The seafood and fall colors around here are pretty spectacular - but it's a crazy state.
