A little history on my investment real estate journey if we can call it that….Back in 2005 my wife and I bought our very first home when we were 24/25, 3 Bed, 1 ½ bath 1500 sqft single family home for $167,000.

Was it a new double wide or a 20 year old single?

Purchase price: $150,000 Cash invested: $6,000 Single family home investment property 30 minutes outside of Greensboro, NC.

I manage 350ish single family homes in Charlotte, NC.

It could be either single family or multifamily.

For #3, I see multiple properties being sold like this, not $30k; but $200k properties being sold at tax deed auctions for $50k-75k#4 - I don't see how this could be realistic, how would someone have time or money to visit every single property in person especially when participating in multiple auctions across the state?
