Throughout several years of operating like this, I have not been harmed, scammed, or stolen from.

The vibe I am getting is that there are a bunch of these companies out there and maybe they are good or maybe they are just a scam.

The banking industry is such a scam...

Most seem like scams to me. 

That bank is going to pull a SVB if they are actually offering those terms and aren't a scam

I have not had any applicants attempt to scam me, but I hear about it all the time from landlords and property managers in larger cities.

I would be (almost) willing to bet they are scam "service" dogs because true service animals have a significant amount of training, rarely leave their owner's sides and are rarely unbehaved.

I believe it is a scam just trying to get your money.
