not me...The focus is on your business model and not market CAP...the one thing I see most often is investors not building a goal-based investment road map.

It is just creating a roadmap for what you want to achieve, but it is hard to figure out what to do first if you do not know where you want to end up. 

I am currently working a full time and trying to convince my wife that we can be financially free ( unsuccessfully lol) I have been on bigger pockets for a year now trying to educate myself and figure out our road map.

I'm writing this post to give some type of relief as well as a  road map to those getting started in the business of real estate to look back on and relate to others on their first steps towards financial independence.

I should probably go back to him and develop a road map for the next 5-10 years and explore some alternative investments outside of these specific SFH's.

Your story is an inspiration and a road map on how to be successful in REI. 

Currently the only forms of energy with potential to exist without support from government are wind and solar, so if you truly are an advocate for unsubsidized energy, you should support the forms of energy that have a clear roadmap to becoming cost effective without needing subsidies (although I doubt you'd like to pay the true cost of electricity, gas, or goods being transported).  

To cut your own aggravation over dealing with a teen,you might want to think about having a carrot and a road map to increase the likely hood he will follow through and that you won't have to nag him to follow through.The carrot, maybe something he likes, or thinks is adult-like, such an afternoon at the driving range and lunch out somewhere he chooses for the two of you.The road map, a (short) bulleted list of say 3 books (maybe eBooks he can read on his phone)A test to ensure he has read them by pretending you have not read them yet, and have him "Teach You" what was in the books before he can earn the carrots.And if it were me I'd start with Rich Dad Poor Dad as number 1.Good Luck!
